"Lucky Numbers" Modern Tribal Collar
A new take on the ancient shaman’s collar, this neckpiece was inspired by the power of numbers. The ribbon collar features a print of a digital collage of numbers from old ephemera. The ribbon has been treated with resin to create a durable yet flexible and comfortable neckpiece. The fringe features more than 30 strands of hand-strung beads and at least 12 hand-made charms. Materials used include waxed linen thread, African metal heishi, garnet beads, glass beads, vintage and used hardware, metal springs, old bingo numbers, vintage tins, sterling silver and more. Adding to the visual interest are strands of ribbon and vintage cloth tape measure altered with acrylic paints, oil pastels, and transferred and sewn-in text. Closes with a hand-made sterling clasp. This is a one-of-a-kind item! Inspired by the work of Susan Lenart Kazmer.
Size: Collar measures 14 inches long and is self-adjustable up to 16 inches.
Price: $350.00
